Cookie Policy

This policy covers www.oasisguestlab.ai. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy and does not replace it.

1. The short version

This website sets no cookies.

We do not set functional cookies, preference cookies, analytics cookies or advertising cookies. We do not store anything in your browser's local storage or session storage. We run no analytics product, no tag manager and no advertising or tracking pixel. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

That is why there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.

Earlier versions of our privacy policy said this site used "functional and analytics cookies only". That was inaccurate. It described a configuration we do not have. This document replaces that statement.

2. What the website does do

2.1 Server logs

When your browser requests a page, our web server records the request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page, and the browser and device information your browser sends. This is how any web server works and it happens whether or not cookies are involved.

We use it to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and protecting our own website. See Part A of the Privacy Policy.

2.2 Google Fonts

Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. This is the one third-party request our pages make.

What this means for you: when you open a page, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch the fonts. That request discloses your IP address to Google, along with the standard information any web request carries, such as your browser and operating system. Google's own terms govern what Google does with it. We receive nothing from that request and we cannot see it.

This happens on every page of this site, including this one.

If you would rather it did not happen, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests, or a privacy-focused browser setting, will stop it. The site remains readable without the web fonts; it will simply use a different typeface.

We are considering self-hosting the fonts, which would remove this request entirely. If we do it, we will update this policy.

2.3 Outbound links

Some pages link to WhatsApp at wa.me, and to our other websites. Following one of those links takes you to a third party under that third party's own terms. We do not set anything in your browser when you click.

2.4 Contact forms

Our contact form has no backend. Submitting it opens a pre-filled message in your own email client or in WhatsApp. Nothing you type into the form is transmitted to us until you send that message yourself, and nothing is stored in your browser.

3. The operator dashboard

The Chatwoot operator dashboard used by our clients' teams is a separate, self-hosted application, not this website. It uses a session cookie to keep a signed-in user signed in. That cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has asked for, it carries no analytics and no tracking, and it is not used on this public website.

4. If we ever add cookies

If we introduce analytics, advertising or any other non-essential cookie or similar technology, we will:

  1. update this policy with a version number and an effective date before it goes live;
  2. name the cookie, say what it does, say who sets it and say how long it lasts;
  3. ask for consent first, through a banner with a genuine reject option that is as easy to use as the accept option, with nothing non-essential set before consent is given;
  4. give you a way to change your mind afterwards.

We will not rely on this policy as it stands to justify setting a cookie it does not describe.

6. Third-party marks

Third-party names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on this site indicates the tools and platforms we work with. It does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation beyond any partner status we expressly state and hold.

Language. These documents are written in English. English is the governing language. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
